Satish Jassal
Satish Jassal, a distinguished architect and recipient of the prestigious RIBA award for his Southwark Brick House. He established his own architectural practice a decade ago in the heart of Kings Cross, London. With a career spanning 17 years as a chartered architect, Satish has left an indelible mark on the UK's architectural landscape, contributing to some of the nation's most significant projects.
Satish has previously worked at award-winning design architects such as Glenn Howells Architects and Patel Taylor. His extensive experience encompasses a wide range of projects, from bespoke domestic houses and residential apartments to office fit-outs and educational buildings. His expertise also extends to urban regeneration, transforming large swathes of cities into vibrant, liveable spaces.
Satish’s architectural expertise is evident in the over one thousand new homes he has designed and built. A standout project in his illustrious career was his involvement in the design, detailing, and delivery of 600 homes at the Athletes Village for the London 2012 Olympics. This important project earned him a nomination for the Olympic Delivery Authority award for outstanding leadership.
In addition to his architectural practice, Satish serves as a Design Expert Associate for the Design Council and is a member of the Harrow Design Review Panel. He also contributes his insights and expertise as a columnist for Building Design.
Satish’s commitment to community-led housing is reflected in his role as a Non-Executive Director at CDS Co-operatives, a co-operative housing association established in 1975 that promotes and supports community led housing. He is currently involved in a framework to deliver a new wave of council homes for Haringey Council and is spearheading some of their first net-zero carbon housing projects.

Rebecca Rawling
Rebecca holds a first-class degree with distinction from London Metropolitan University. Since joining Satish Jassal Architects as an apprentice in 2018, she has contributed to numerous projects at all RIBA stages, including some of our award-winning homes.

Grace Izinyon
Grace earned a first-class degree from the University of Westminster and a master's degree from the University of Cambridge. She has extensive experience across all RIBA stages, working on bespoke homes, retrofits, grade-listed buildings, and multi-residential projects.
Grace speaks Yoruba and Japanese.
Angus Chiu
Angus graduated with a first-class degree in Structural Engineering and Architecture from the University of Sheffield, followed by a master’s from the University of Bath. He is currently involved in several private housing schemes.
Angus speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
Lily Elgood
Lily graduated from the University of Newcastle and has been focusing on retrofit projects and the refurbishment of a Grade 2 listed building.
